When You Want a Radiant, Poreless-Looking Glow
You may love the smooth, luminous, glass-like skin you see in photos and wonder how to achieve that look in real life. Dryness, dullness, and rough texture can stand between you and that fresh, dewy finish, and everyday products may not deliver the hydration and polish you are hoping for.
How Glacē Facial Works
The Glacē Facial layers several professional steps to build radiance from the surface up. After a thorough cleanse, gentle exfoliation removes dull surface cells, and nourishing serums and masks are selected to deeply hydrate and reinforce the skin barrier. The result is a smooth, plumped, luminous finish tailored to your complexion and skin goals.
What a Glacē Facial May Help Improve
Dry, dull skin
Deep hydration builds a dewy, luminous, glass-like finish.
Texture and pores
Gentle exfoliation smooths the surface and helps refine the look of pores.
A radiant complexion
Each step is customized to your skin type and goals for a fresh, comfortable treatment.
Prepare the Skin. Support the Recovery.
Glacē can prepare and condition the skin before selected aesthetic procedures and support the skin afterward. Its role depends on how each treatment interacts with the skin.

Fractional Resurfacing
Hydration helps create a better-conditioned starting point for water-targeting lasers such as UltraClear.
RF Microneedling
Hydration influences tissue electrical properties, which can matter as Matrix Pro monitors impedance during RF delivery.
IPL
With Nordlys, Glacē’s role is primarily exfoliation and surface preparation, helping create cleaner optical conditions for light delivery.

UltraClear & Fractional Resurfacing
For water-targeting lasers such as UltraClear, tissue water plays an important role in how laser energy interacts with the skin. Preparing the skin with improved hydration and surface conditioning can provide a more consistent starting point before controlled resurfacing. Glacē may be used before selected resurfacing procedures for hydration, exfoliation, and skin preparation.
At the appropriate stage of healing, hydration and barrier-supportive care may also help address dryness and tightness during recovery after resurfacing. Post-procedure Glacē is considered only when clinically appropriate, not automatically or immediately after treatment.
Matrix Pro & RF Microneedling
RF microneedling works differently from a water-targeting laser: water is not the target. Matrix Pro monitors tissue impedance as energy is delivered and independently adjusts energy delivery. Because hydration influences the electrical characteristics of tissue, we may use Glacē beforehand as part of conditioning the skin for treatment.
In our clinical experience, well-conditioned tissue can provide a more favorable treatment environment as Matrix Pro monitors impedance and delivers controlled electrocoagulation. This is a clinical rationale for skin preparation, not a proven improvement in outcomes or a change to the device algorithm.
Nordlys IPL
With IPL, the rationale is different. Nordlys is designed to target chromophores such as melanin and hemoglobin while filtering wavelengths that would create unnecessary heating of water. Water is not the intended target. The value of Glacē before IPL is therefore less about hydration as a target and more about preparing the optical surface of the skin.
By exfoliating and refining the stratum corneum while improving hydration and skin condition, Glacē can create a cleaner surface for light delivery and may improve light transmission into the tissue. In our clinical experience, this may allow us to reach the desired endpoint with lower energy settings in selected patients, which can contribute to greater comfort and an additional margin of safety.
Other Procedures
The same preparation-and-recovery concept may be useful around other resurfacing or skin-quality procedures, including dermaplaning and selected peels, when exfoliation, hydration, or barrier support complements the primary treatment. The timing and role of Glacē depend on the procedure and the condition of the skin. Post-procedure use is considered only when clinically appropriate and at the appropriate stage of healing; not every patient or procedure needs Glacē.
